DT Max uses Microsoft's HTMLHelp system for all its online help and knowledge base information. It provides access as well as searching and indexing capabilities.

In order to be fully functional, the current version of HTMLHelp requires Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.01 (IE4) or higher to be installed. Windows 98 and higher already rely extensively on HTMLHelp. However, users of Windows NT4 may have a previous version of IE installed, or none at all. This depends on the Windows version itself and on what the manufacturers have originally integrated into the product. If you believe that you do not have an up-to-date copy of IE installed, visit the Microsoft Web site to download the latest version of IE.

Note that this should not in any way affect your choice of browser to access the Internet. You may continue to use Netscape or any other browser of your choice.
